Guitar Hero 3 for Xbox 360 Review

I have to say, I didn’t think it could get much better after the release of Guitar Hero 2 but Guitar Hero 3 for Xbox 360 just blew me away. The songs continue to improve and this one is definitely the best guitar hero yet. I really like that some of the tracks are recorded by the original artists also. Being able to play the game online was  a great plus after the last 2 versions, as you can finally show off your skills against different competitors instead of kicking your friends butt all time.

The first time I played Guitar Hero, it was on a Playstation 2 system. After I played the same game on Xbox, I immediately went out to buy an Xbox system in anticipation of Guiter Hero 3 for Xbox being released.

One of the things I was a little disappointed with in the second release was how easy it was to master the game. Guitar Hero 3 for Xbox does not suffer from that because it has a very high level of difficulty that will challenge even the best of players and will keep you interested in the game for  a long time.

I also like the fact that they have made some of the techniques such as hammering on and pulling off  easier to do. It is an important advantage, because some of the songs on the expert level are extremely fast and this little addition really helps.

Another great feature of Guitar Hero 3 for Xbox is that there is a greater emphasis on shredding. Playing the riffs is great, but everyone wants a  chance to shine in the spotlight. That is actually the feature that got me hooked in the first place. So what are you waiting for ? Go ahead and buy it. Maybe we will get to play each other some day.
